- A juvenile may apply for the expungement of records related to adjudications if the juvenile was a victim of human trafficking, aggravated human trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation of a child, and the adjudicated acts were committed as a result of such victimization.

- A law enforcement officer is required to place a child in protective custody if the officer reasonably believe the child is a victim of human trafficking, aggravated human trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation. However, this services-referral protocol is not automatically triggered and hinges on the judgement of a law enforcement officer.
